Unveiling WRATH: The upcoming Guwahati Mega Metal Event

Metal might be a severely underrated music genre but the spirit amongst Metalheads rages on despite it. To fuel that spirit further and energise a whole evening, PRO Media and Creations is back with another event in Guwahati that only promises to be bigger, better and heavier than it’s  last event.

PRO Media and Creations, in association with Euphonycart and Metal Banger proudly present WRATH, the successor of the successful Blast Vol 1.

So, why WRATH?

There have been many Metal shows in Guwahati but not all of them were truly successful. So what does WRATH have that demands attention? Frankly speaking, a lot of things. But when the band lineup comes into consideration, everything else loses its charm. The Organizer has managed to bring in six of the most popular and unique bands of the region to perform their best in a single evening of amazing metal indulgence. Below are the FIVE PRINCIPAL REASONS, listed in order of performance-

Oblivions is the winner of AEC Pyrotechnix ’17, JEC Powerchord ’17, Crosswindz Guwahati Eliminations ’16 etc. and runners-up at various other events. It is one of the most popular and well-followed bands of the NE. It is a Progressive/Metalcore Band and the members are currently working on their first EP. No matter the event, Oblivions has never disappointed the audience.

Tyrrhenian Logo

Tyrrhenian is a Progressive Deathcore band from Guwahati who earned recognition from their singles and energetic live shows. They were the winners of TechXetra- Metanoia ’16, AEC- Pyrotechnix ’16 and Consensio ’16. They were also the runners-up and finalists of many other events.

Lunatic Fringe is one of the few bands in the North East with Black Metal influences. Their style is considerably Progressive which only makes their music better and adds to their overall charm. Lunatic Fringe is well awarded and one of the most famous as well as respected bands of the region. They are the winners of Octaves ’14 and Rebel O Rock ’15.

If Hope Dies is a Technical/Progressive Band hailing from Darjeeling. They have played extensively in various parts of India as well as Nepal. The band plays whatever music they like and prefer not to stay limited to any particular sub-genre of metal. They received good reviews for debut EP. In a nutshell, If Hope Dies is a ravenous beast on stage and should not be missed!

Agnostic is another well known Death Metal band of the region. They were on hiatus for a couple of years in between but are now back with new vigour and a new yet experienced vocalist. The band is working on their second album and WRATH will be their live event after a long period. Analysing their stage history, it’s going to be awesome.

Remember Blast 1.0? The event that energized fans at Ozone in early April? If not, there’s something new in town to make…
